This Privacy Policy explains how TaskBridge Digital Services (SMC-Private) Limited ("TaskBridge", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website and mobile application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
TaskBridge Digital Services (SMC-Private) Limited is a company registered in Pakistan (Corporate Unique Identification No. 0360229) with its registered office at House # 134, Street 1, Mohalla Baba Himmet Shah Luddan, Tehsil and District Vehari, Punjab 61100, Pakistan. 2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, mobile number, email address and profile details.
- Verification information (agents): an image and number of your national identity card (CNIC), a selfie, and the account title of the bank or mobile-wallet account you use, so we can confirm your identity and that the names match.
- Task information: task descriptions, addresses, status, ratings and reviews.
- Location data: the location of a task and, while an agent is working on a task, the agent's device location, with permission from the device.
- Messages: chat messages exchanged between buyers and agents in the app.
- Payment-related information: details needed to record and verify payments connected to tasks.
- Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, and basic diagnostic logs.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage accounts and to verify identities.
- To match buyers with agents and let them communicate.
- To show an agent's progress on a task and to protect both parties.
- To review and resolve cancellations and disputes, using task records such as messages and location history.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of the Service.
- To provide support, send service notifications and improve the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with the other party to a task, to the extent needed to complete it (for example, name, rating and task location);
- with service providers who help us run the Service (for example, cloud hosting, identity-checking and messaging providers), under appropriate obligations of confidentiality;
- with authorities or other parties when required by law or to protect rights, safety or property.
5. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal requirements. Verification documents are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings. Withdrawing some permissions may limit parts of the Service.
8. Account and data deletion
To delete your account and associated data, email info@taskbridge.com.pk from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm the request and process it, except for information we must keep for legal reasons or for an unresolved dispute.
9. Children
The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
